Size of a College - Acreage That Is

Recently we surveyed our students to see if they consider a campus’ size based on undergraduate enrollment or the acreage of the campus. Many mentioned acreage is more important than student population -so we set off for another data hunt, cataloging schools by acreage. Some interesting finds are listed below.

• Large Flagship State Schools with Manageable Acreage – Get a bike

• Large Flagship State Schools Spread Out – Over 1000 acres – Ride a bus

• Urban Schools With Considerable Acreage

• Traditional Smaller Private Schools With Lots of Acreages to Spread Out
