Parents of Seniors! Get ready and gather your materials. FAFSA & CSS Profile applications both open on October 1.

We recommend all families complete the FAFSA and the CSS Profile (when applicable) not only for need grants but also to establish a baseline and, for some schools, open up doors for merit scholarships. For families that don't believe they will be eligible for need grants or merit scholarships, we still recommend filing to establish the ability to pay for need-aware schools. Not sure where to start? We have a handy checklist for you. Another interesting list: Highly selective schools that are Need-Aware (Almost all public universities are need-aware) - Submitting your FAFSA/CSS Profile showing strong financials is part of the review process – might consider income and assets to fill the last few seats in the class. If you have questions about whether your student's application list is balanced for admission and goal cost of attendance, please schedule a chat.
