As the sophomore year concludes, we jump in during the summer to help Rising Juniors review the rigor of their upcoming high school curriculum, academic profile and evaluate current performance.  We will advise students regarding a test-prep timeline in conjunction with the student’s high school curriculum.

Although standardized tests are just one measure of the student, they are an integral part of the college planning process, if only to evaluate test-optional schools if appropriate. We can set up digital tools to use for self-study test prep as needed, and we can collaborate with ArborBridge, our test prep and tutoring partner.    
 
Students learn how to leverage their “MyCPC” accounts for research, organization, and communication and complete self-assessments to understand their deeper college preferences.  Parents have homework also, completing a college profile, and meeting with our director.  We help families understand how to create an application list balanced for admission and financial fit.
