Monopoly Gone? - Florida System Accepts Classical Learning Test

On September 11, the Florida University System announced admissions will accept the Classical Learning Test Official College Entrance Exam (CLT) as an alternative to the SAT/ACT.

Can a student take CLT Official College Entrance Exam remotely?
Unlike the SAT/ACT, students can take the CLT remotely. The test will be open from 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time on each test day and can be taken at any point during this window. On test day, technical and customer support is available from 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. Eastern Time and students are strongly encouraged to test during these hours. The test must be taken in one sitting.

Test Date - November 2 - Registration Deadline - October 26
Test Date - December 2 - Registration Deadline - November 27
How long does it take to get scores back?
The CLT notes remote exams scores are returned within 8 days. Below are a few Florida state school deadlines to plan accordingly
University of Florida - 11/1 - SAT, ACT and/or Classical Learning Test (CLT) scores may be sent directly from the testing agency or self-reported through your application status page by 12/1

How long is the test?
The test is two hours with a total of 120 questions - One hour shorter and about 25% less questions than the SAT and 45% less questions than the ACT.
Verbal Reasoning Section - 40 minutes
Grammar/Writing Section - 35 minutes
Quantitative Reasoning Section - 45 minutes
